Job Title: Proposal & Process Engineer    
Reports to: Global Corporate Business Development  
Department: Business Development

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a proposal engineer who can support business development group to deliver quality technical proposals on-time. The major job duties and responsibilities are below:

  • Understand and communicate on a variety of water treatment technologies
  • Develop water treatment process train along with the process team and finalize with client
  • Develop PFD, GA, PID, Interface drawing and any other material relevant to prepare cost models
  • Develop project costing through lifecycle of the project and submit to business development for pricing
  • Coordinate proposal development with internal teams (BD, engineering, process, operations, safety), as required
  • Prepare and deliver client proposals on time and with the highest work quality
  • Participate and present in customer meetings if required
  • Maintain good communication with all stakeholders and provide visibility on direction and results

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:

  • Technical background (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • 5+ yrs. experience developing proposals for industrial water treatment projects and submitting on time
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate with customers and local salesforce

  • Curiosity and strong drive to improve status-quo while working in a semi-autonomous environment
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time depending on customer location
  • Good communication and presentation skills to convey ideas and technical information effectively
