Job Title: Commercial/Contracts Manager
Reports to: Global Corporate Business Development

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a commercial/contracts manager who can support company’s business growth in Singapore, South East Asia and Middle East. The major job duties and responsibilities are below:
- Coordinate development of firm and final proposals along with process/proposals, sales, finance, legal and business development teams (“front end team”)
- Develop financial models for projects which include detailed costing and pricing after obtaining relevant inputs from process, supply chain, finance, engineering and operations teams (“execution team”)
- Develop contracts with different internal functions with various project delivery models like DBOO, BOT, DB, EPC and O&M
- Ensure execution of contracts, review/negotiate contracts along with terms and conditions with clients as required and within stipulated timelines
- Support sales team to achieve booked revenue targets and business development teams to achieve booked gross margins target
- Administer contractual terms and conditions along with execution team project manager for certain projects
- Work on any claims associated with contracts, where required
- Work with finance and project management functions for invoicing
- Work with business development team to support any large or cross-border account management efforts
- Support execution team to achieve realized revenue and gross margins targets as required
- Have high level understanding of different water treatment equipment/technology, industrial/municipal water treatment applications in at least South East Asia. Additional regions an advantage.
- Have a client first attitude but also be able to push company’s agenda
- Travel once a month or as required – but travel is not expected to be high as this is a support role to primary sales personnel
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- Technical background (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering preferred)
- 10+ yrs. experience working in progressive technical/commercial/sales roles in the industrial and/or municipal water/wastewater with clear contribution to meeting business unit revenue targets
- Ability to build relationships and communicate with customers and local stakeholders is critical
- Able to work with various heads of departments to move forward the project – ability to negotiate through conflicting scenarios and make a decision in a timely manner

- Curiosity and strong drive to improve status-quo while working in a semi-autonomous environment
- Ability to travel as and when required but not more than 20% of the time
- Be very comfortable with developing and nurturing relationships across the board
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey ideas and technical/commercial information effectively
